A franchisee bringing a popular cookie shop brand to Colorado asked me to help open its first two locations in the state. Each store needed to deliver the brand's fun, welcoming experience from the day it opened.

We worked closely together on both shops, and I prepared the drawings using the franchise architect's design standards, adapting the brand's layout, finishes, and fixtures to two very different spaces. The first was a vacant, unimproved tenant space, built out from a bare shell. The second was a former restaurant, completely demolished to start fresh.

Helping small business owners through the process of opening a new location is one of my favorite parts of this work.
