County Line Lumber

When the owner of County Line Lumber, a local lumber yard, needed more covered space to protect the lumber and building materials stored in the yard, he asked me to help expand the facility. The plan included an addition to an existing lumber shed and a new, ground-up storage building.

Before the project could be submitted for building permits, it had to go through the town's site plan review. I guided him through that entire process and then prepared the permit drawings for both structures. The 4,100-square-foot addition extends the existing open-front shed, with its roofline and siding matched to the original. The new 6,500-square-foot building is a pre-engineered steel canopy, open along both long sides, with end walls finished in the same warm tan as the existing buildings.

It's always rewarding to help a local business make room to grow.
