Cowenton Crossing

For a longtime developer client, I designed a new retail center of about 12,300 square feet, planned to welcome a mix of shops, offices and a restaurant.

Stone piers, brick, gabled towers and standing-seam metal roofs break the long façade into a series of distinct storefronts, giving the center a warm, traditional character. Once the shell was complete, I also designed a couple of the tenant spaces inside. A few years later, I designed a smaller pad building next door, now Haraz Coffee House, to match.

This center is one of many projects I've designed for this client over nearly 30 years, first in Maryland and now remotely from Colorado.
