Haraz Coffee House

For a longtime developer client, I designed this small pad building beside Cowenton Crossing, a retail center I had designed for the same client a few years earlier. The roughly 1,700-square-foot shell was planned for a quick-service restaurant or coffee shop, with a drive-through window along one side.

I designed the exterior to match the center next door. Stone piers, brick, a gabled entrance and green metal awnings tie the two buildings together, so they read as one place. Today the building is home to Haraz Coffee House.
