Strive Direct Health

When a local physician set out to open Strive Direct Health, he was building something different: a direct primary care practice, where patients pay a simple monthly membership instead of going through insurance and get more time with their doctor. He needed a clinic that felt as personal as the care he provides.

The practice leased a raw tenant space of about 1,250 square feet in a new building, with a dirt floor and exposed structure overhead. Starting from that empty shell, I designed the layout and prepared the drawings for a comfortable reception and waiting area, three consultation rooms, a pharmacy and lab, and a break room. An interior designer brought the finishes and furnishings together, giving the clinic a warm, welcoming feel rather than a clinical one.

It was a pleasure helping a local doctor open his own practice.
